Mid to End of the Year Recap - Part 2: The Holidays!

Halloween!!  My little dude was a lion!  At first, he did not want to get his costume on so we had to do some bribing with what else...candy.  After he got it on, he was fine and it was off to do some trick or treating.  He ended up being a pro by the end of the night!

Next up, Thanksgiving!  Look how dapper my little dude looks in his shirt, tie and jeans!  I have to say he looked so cute and I got a lot of compliments on his outfit!

Had to get a picture with uncle Chris! Both wearing shirts and ties!

Getting a picture with Great Grandma Todd!

And now Christmas!!  Our little dude did NOT like santa this year!!  Of course, we had to wait for an hour to see him and Drew did so well waiting for about 45 minutes and that's when we started to lose him.  By the time we got to see santa, he was in total melt down mode!  When the lady at the cash register asked me if I wanted to upgrade my package, I asked her if she looked at my pictures and we all laughed.  As soon as he was done with santa, he was fine.  Little stinker!

We went to Aunt Mary's house for our annual Christmas get-together and he got a laptop!

Chilling with nannu.

We had to see Aunt Diana for Christmas, of course.  Aunt Diana continues to be one of Drew's favorite people in the whole wide world!

Haha, Drew's old man sweater.  Christmas outfit, 2011.

At Grandma and Grandpa Todd's house.  Drew got a table and chairs from Grandma and Grandpa and a barbecue set from Uncle Chris and Aunt Jenny!  Lots of good stuff!

Off to Nanna Abela's where Drew got lots more.  What a lucky kid he is!!

Playing with his coffee maker!

And his work bench from Aunt Theresa and Uncle Nick!

Nanna and Nannu Abela got Drew a CARS 2 racing trike!  I bet he'll spend a lot of time playing with it next summer!

One of his favorite gifts this year:  a microwave that beeps and spins.  Pretty neat!

4th of July!!

We had such a wonderful holiday that I am so sad to see it go.  Thankfully, we have our first family vacation coming up in a few short weeks and I think all three of us are so looking forward to it!!

As for this weekend, on Sunday, we got to invited to pretty much the biggest 4th of July party I have ever seen and we had a blast! Little man did really well even though it was so hot.  One thing that we did learn is that Drew has absolutely no fear of the lake.  We are going to have to keep 20 eyes on him when we are on vacation, that's for sure!!!

A sea of humanity next to Wolverine Lake:

The dudes showing off their tattoos.  This party sure did have quite the set up to entertain.  Cotton candy and ice cream tables, face painting and tattoos, dj's, etc.  Lots of fun!

Family shot!

Drew trying to pull cousin Tyler's hair.  Sheesh, whenever Andrew is around kids, that's the first thing he tries.

At least Tyler thinks it's hilarious!

Chillin:

Love the lake behind us!  It was a beautiful day!

And on Monday, we decided to lay low and headed over to nanna's so Andrew could swim in his pool and play with his water table.  It was a good, low key day and again, couldn't ask for better weather!!

And daddy decided to get in on the action.  LOL, he had been talking about this all day!!!

Thanksgiving

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving with our little man!  We first went and visited grandma and grandpa Todd and great-grandma Shaw.  It was such a fun time!  Grandma even bought Drew his first drumset.

Here is my little stud in his Thanksgiving outfit.  My good friend Sarah let me borrow this ridiculously cute shirt and tie and Drew really wore it well.  He should be a model!

Drew and his momma:

Drew and Grandma Shaw.  One of my favorite pictures!

Love the look of love by both of them in this picture.
Drew with his grandma and grandpa Todd:
After visiting with grandma and grandpa Todd, we headed over to spend the rest of Thanksgiving with my side of the family.  We had to change Drew and put him in his second Thanksgiving outfit of the day.  The jeans were a little tight so we put him in something a tad more comfortable.

Posing with auntie mary:

And cousin Brian and Alexa:
Nanna always feeding Drew.  :)  Munching on one of his favorites...a loaf of bread!

Auntie Theresa and Uncle Nick posing with me:

My nanna and nannu Abela:

And finally a family picture.

What a great Thanksgiving it was. Drew did so well and I am so glad cause we had a lot to be thankful for...first and foremost, him!!!

Halloween!

Steve and I were really excited to take Drew out for his first trick or treating!  We got him dressed up and ready to go and all of a sudden, I see him start to doze in his stroller.  We woke him up...which lasted for about a minute and then he was out cold.

So pretty much, we had a great time but Drew slept through the whole thing!  When we brought him inside, he woke up and looked at us and was like, "what, what, what'd I miss?"

Mommy and Drew getting ready to go!

Nanna and Drew:

...and he's out!

...and, he's still out.  But off we went!

Drew's loot:

"What'd I miss, guys???"

This Picture Deserves it's Own Post!

Cause it's just so cute!!  Steve caught Drew's eye and got the biggest grin out of him!  One of my favorites, for sure!

Pumpkins, Costumes and...Drew!

We had plans to take Drew to a pumpkin patch so we could pick out his pumpkin for Halloween and get some pictures of him.  Unfortunately, the kiddo had a nasty cold and the weather was downright awful so we decided to bring the pumpkins to him.

We dressed him up in his Halloween costume...Nascar Driver Dale Jr...and took him outside for some pictures with his pumpkins!

One of my all time favorites with Steve and Drew:

My little Nascar dude:

Pumpkins!

Trying really hard to figure it out!

Cutie pie:

Love those curls!

 Dad, are we done yet???
