Only One of the Best Videos Ever!

I love this video.  I mean,  I super duper love this video.  How can I not?  Drew shouting "love you"?  It melts my heart every single time I watch it and I am so happy daddy got in on video!!!

Day 19 of 365: It's only 9:20am...

...and the house is already a mess!  And look at the little devil standing in the background with a big grin on his face.   He certainly loves making messes and certainly hates cleaning them up!!!

Day 18 of 365: Playing with Nanna

Nothing is more fun than playing with nanna!  In fact, when Drew saw me after work, he wanted nothing to do with me.  He just wanted to keep playing with nanna.  His poor mother!  :)

Day 17 of 365: Cuddling at Nanna's!

It's cold here today and Drew spent about 2 seconds cuddling on the couch with a blankey at nanna's.  He spent the rest of the day running around and doing what Drew does but hey, at least he sat long enough to get a picture.  :)

Day 16 of 365: Being Sneaky About Snacks!

I left him alone for maybe two minutes.  Momma's have to use the bathroom sometime, you know!  I knew he was up to something because he was being quiet...should have known it would have have to do with food!!

Apparently Drew as hungry, went into the cabinet and helped himself to some chips.  When I came out, he was sitting with the chip bag happily munching away.  :)

ummmm, little dude?  what do you think you are doing??

mmmmmmmmm!

"Please momma??  Can I have some???"

"No?  Fine!  I will find something else!"  And back to the food cabinet he goes...

Day 15 of 365: Making a Mess!!

Drew has been having a lot of fun absolutely tearing his toys apart these days.  He dumps everything out of the bins and scatters all of his toys on the floor.  Although it causes me to nervously twitch as I see my house in utter chaos, he seems to have fun.  He'll sit in the middle, find a toy and play for awhile.  Then, he'll go to something else.  Keeps himself busy for a good hour and I have to say, he usually does a pretty good job of helping clean up when he is finally done!

Here's Drew with one of his empty bins.  :)

Day 14 of 365: Daddy's Birthday Party!

On Saturday, we celebrated Steve's birthday by heading out to eat with our immediate family.  We took Steve to his favorite restaurant (buffalo wild wings) and then came back to our house for a little cake and ice cream.  Drew had an absolute ball playing with all his favorite people and he also showed lots of love!  I love when he's affectionate!  :)  We had such a good time and it's so nice to be able to celebrate with family!  :)

Day 13 of 365: Showing Momma Some Love

My boy really does give the best hugs!  And boy I love it when we get to cuddle as brief as it these days!  I remember when he was a baby and some would say "oh my gosh, I cant believe you rock him to sleep".  Now, I totally miss those days.  Hugs are fleeting.  Cuddle time is non-existent unless he isn't feeling well.

When we get a hug now, we try to hold on just a little bit longer before he pulls away as he is off to find some trouble.

Love these moments (even if it isn't the most flattering picture of me!!):

Day 12 of 365: Up To No Good!

I think Drew and I are both longing to be outside and playing.  Everyday this rental feels smaller and smaller when we can't get outside.  Right now, that really isnt an option since it's so cold out side.  I definitely need to find activities we can do that are inside that will get us out of the house.

For now though, by the looks of these pictures, we must give dirty looks to the TV or eat our feet to pass time!  :)

Day 11 of 365: All Bundled Up!

As we were leaving nanna's to come home for the evening, Drew wanted to bring one of nanna's blankets in the car with him.  So after I got him buckled in, he immediately wanted it on wrapped around his legs like he sees his nanna does.  You would have thought it was 15 below outside!  :)

Day 10 of 365: Bath Time!

The little dude loves to take a bath!  He's always splashing and getting water all over the floor and us!!  He's not such a fan of getting his hair washed but we have a really hard time keeping the water out of his poor face!

Here are some pics of bath time!

Day 9 of 365: Sleepy Time

Today, for the most part, was a good day for Drew.  He went to costco with nanna and nannu and even tried a hot dog for the first time (which, of course, he loved).  By the time I got home from work, my little dude was in a major mood!  :(  He barely wanted his dinner and was generally pretty fussy.  I got him home and he immediately wanted to go lay down (please Lord, we just got over the sickies) and barely let me change him in his jammies.

Once I did, I knew I was running out of time to get a pic so getting it in his crib all snuggled with his buddies is what I did.  He was pretty upset before I got the camera out but when he did, at least I managed to get a little smile out of him.  After the few pictures, he fell asleep in 2 minutes flat.  Poor dude.  And he had a good nap today!!  I am chalking it up to the full moon.

The flash kind of startled him.  :)

There's my little dude's smile!

Day 8 of 365: Reading!

I have only a few pictures to share today of Drew reading what has become one of his favorite books.  It's a book all about trucks and has little sliding windows that he loves to slide open and closed!

Day 7 of 365: Lots of Playing Fun!

Today was a fun day.  Daddy and Drew started getting into mischief by having a fake food fight with the pieces we got Drew for Christmas!  Drew immediately caught on to the mischief and while I don't necessarily agree with fake food being launched across my living room, I do love that little twinkle my Drew gets in his eye.  That kid is allllll boy!!!

Don't worry though, we didn't go to long without playing with something with buttons.  Today, it was mommy's alarm clock in our bedroom.  I can't tell you how many times that alarm clock has gone off at such weird times.  Just another day in the Todd household!!

Goofball!!

Getting ready to launch some eggs.  Look at that twinkle...

Watching his dad...

Having fun!!!

Ahhhh yes, can't go too long without pressing some buttons!

"Don't tell me what to do mommmmmm!!!"

"I'm not done pushing buttons yet!!!"

"OK, now I am thirsty from pushing all those buttons!"

And for a dear friend of mine that told me that I don't have enough of pictures of me with my little man:
